The Faculty of Information Technologies and Systems of YGU was established in 2007 on the basis of the “Informatics and Accounting System” specialty academic syllabus (230100) ratified by RA MES.
The Faculty comprises of three computer laboratories equipped with contemporary electronics, Wi-Max speedy Internet connection, etc. E-library and 24-hour Internet access are available in every chair of the university offering flexible circulation of documents.
The Faculty staff members are qualified professors with high proficiency, as well as experts of well-known companies and enterprises among them “Vivacell-MTS”, aiming at enhancing students’ theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
The Faculty of Information Technologies and Systems offers a training of Bachelors of techniques and technology hence preparing qualified engineer-physics.

Mathematical Statistics and Computing Mathematics.
The curriculum includes as well Informatics and Disciplines of Information Technologies, Use of Computers, Disciplines of Logistics and Accountancy, Engineering Graphics, Electronics, Disciplines of Computing Technologies, Principles of Metrology and Standardizing, Disciplines of Algorithm and Programming.
The major courses of the Information Technologies and Systems Faculty are: ICT Functionality Links, ICT Engineering and Planning, Operating Systems, Programming in high-level languages, ICT System Reliability, Databases, Computer Simulation, Computer Nets and Telecom, ICT Memory Equipment, ICT Exterior Apparatus and Interfaces, Resources of Information Safety, etc.
At the Information Technologies and Systems Faculty during the study process due attention is paid to special courses as:
