Academic Board, the highest presiding body, started along with the university and is headed by Rector Zhora D. Jhangiryan, Doctor/Professor of Law. Academic Broad meetings focus on the following issues:

- organize academic process;
- to analyze a range of pedagogical and scientific matters;
- to discuss and review results of tests and exams per semester each sub-division accordingly;
- to organize the process of practicum, presentations of theses and confirmation of diploma works, as well as dissertation themes;
- to read the recordings of faculties procedures;
- to nominate lecturers for Assistant Professor and Doctor awards, as well eminent scientists - with medals;
- to recommend the publication of monographs and manuals, etc.
